For scarifying, we have several machines available including the all-purpose MP6000.
The MP6000 produced by SPE International is extremely versatile and can prepare just about any surface for resurfacing or re-covering whether it involves planing, stripping, grinding or shot blasting.
The MP6000 with a 500mm scarifying head uses a variety of different cutting tips; consequently, a host of different materials can be prepared, and by using the MP6000 on-board collection system, dust and debris can be minimised and environmentally friendly.
The design of the cutter heads allows the cutting tips to float and with the use of additional attachments can be used for a wide range of jobs such as:
reducing high spots in asphalt or concrete
removing raised thermoplastic materials
lowering trip hazards
stripping off floors (with the right attachments)
removing adhesives, paints and cleaning
removing compound materials such as epoxy resins and sealants
This powerful machine can cut through the toughest of surfaces and provide you with the required finish prior to overlaying with your chosen materials.
The smaller SCB-1200-D is more suited for smaller spaces and in fact can fit through standard 36″ doors and is easily transported to and from site in its own lorry or trailer. This machine is ideal for scarifying and captive blasting smaller areas, the larger heavier MP6000 cannot go.
For maximum flexibility and cost effectiveness, we also have available several pedestrian / walk behind scarifying units, which are proven and reliable and the perfect back up to our larger machines or for use in tight areas. They are particularly useful for work inside buildings, for example, in warehouses, factories and airport terminals.
